Privacy Policy

Last updated: 3 June 2026

This privacy policy explains how Waggle Pet Services, Ltd. (“Waggle”, “we”, “us” or “our”) collects, uses and protects your personal information when you visit wewaggle.co.uk, join our daycare waitlist, or use our dog walking and dog care services.

Waggle is a family-run dog care business based in Wilmslow, Cheshire. We are the “data controller” responsible for your personal data under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

1. Information we collect

We may collect and process the following information about you:

  • Contact details — your name, email address, postcode, phone number and similar information you give us (for example, when you join the daycare waitlist or enquire about a service).
  • Dog details — information about your dog, such as their name, breed and size.
  • Communications — the content of messages you send us by email, web form or live chat.
  • Technical & usage data — your IP address, browser type, device information, and how you use our website, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
  • Marketing preferences — your choices about receiving marketing from us and your cookie consent settings.

2. How we collect your information

We collect information when you:

  • fill in a form on our website, including the daycare waitlist sign-up;
  • contact us by email, phone, live chat or social media;
  • book or use one of our services;
  • browse our website (through cookies and similar technologies, where you have consented).

3. How we use your information & our lawful bases

We use your personal data only where the law allows us to. The lawful bases we rely on are:

  • Your consent — to send you marketing emails (such as daycare opening news and founding-member offers) and to set non-essential cookies. You can withdraw your consent at any time.
  • Performance of a contract — to provide the services you have booked and to manage our relationship with you.
  • Our legitimate interests — to respond to your enquiries, run and improve our website, understand how it is used, and keep it secure, in a way that does not override your rights.
  • Legal obligation — to comply with our legal and regulatory responsibilities.

4. Marketing communications

If you join our waitlist or otherwise opt in, we will email you about our daycare launch, your founding-member offer, and occasional Waggle news. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time by clicking it or by emailing us at bark@wewaggle.co.uk. We will never sell your personal data.

5. Cookies & tracking

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to make the site work, to understand how it is used, and — with your consent — to measure and improve our advertising. When you first visit, we ask for your consent to non-essential cookies, and you can change your choice at any time. Essential cookies needed for the site to function are always active.

We use trusted third-party services that may set cookies or process data on our behalf, including:

  • Google (Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics and Google Maps) — for analytics and to show our location.
  • Meta (the Facebook Pixel) — to measure and improve our advertising, where you have consented.
  • Transpond — our email marketing platform, which manages the waitlist and our mailing list.
  • Amazon Web Services — which hosts our website.

6. Sharing your information

We only share your personal data with the service providers listed above (acting as our data processors) so that they can perform services on our behalf, and where we are required to do so by law. We do not sell or rent your personal data to anyone.

7. International transfers

Some of our providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as UK-approved standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions) to ensure your data receives an equivalent level of protection.

8. How long we keep your information

We keep your personal data only for as long as we need it for the purposes set out in this policy, including to meet any legal, accounting or reporting requirements. If you ask us to stop contacting you, we will keep a minimal record of your request so that we can honour it.

9. Data security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or alteration. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and to keep it safe.

10. Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you;
  • ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
  • ask us to delete your data (the “right to be forgotten”);
  • object to, or ask us to restrict, our processing of your data;
  • ask us to transfer your data to another organisation (data portability);
  • withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on consent.

To exercise any of these rights, please email us at bark@wewaggle.co.uk. We will respond within one month.

11. Children's privacy

Our website and services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with their data, please contact us and we will delete it.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Please check back occasionally to stay informed.

13. How to contact us

If you have any questions about this policy or how we handle your data, please get in touch:

If you are not happy with how we have handled your data, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would, however, appreciate the chance to address your concerns first.
